NTPC is require for 525 no. of promising, energetic young graduate engineers and professionals with bright academic record to join the organisation as Executive Trainess in the areas of :
- Electrical : 130 posts (UR-88, SC-18, ST-10, OBC-44)
- Mechanical : 195 posts (UR-117, SC-21, ST-4, OBC-78)
- Civil : 25 posts (UR-20, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-37)
- Control & Intrumentation: 105 posts (UR-54, SC-2, ST-1,OBC-33)
- Human Resource : 30 posts (UR-13,SC-5,ST-1,OBC-11)
- Finance : 40 posts (UR-17, SC-8, ST-4, OBC-11)
Required Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university with not less thatn 65% marks. Final year students may also apply. For HR : Graduates with 2 years full time Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management / Social Work (with HR as main subject) / Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management / MBA/ with not less than 60% marks. For Finance : Graduate with CA / ICWA or 2 years full time MBA with finance as main subject with not less than 60% marks.
Selection Process :
Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Selection Test. Based on merit and requirement the list of successful candidates for interview will be made available at www.ntpcjobs.net and will be emailed to such candidates. All short listed candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview before the Company's Central Selection Board. The final list of candidates being offered, “Offer of appointment” will be made available online.

How to Apply:
Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system of NTPC only. To apply visit: www.ntpcjobs.net with your valid E-mail ID. General and OBC category candidates are also required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500/-. Candidates can either pay registration fee online while applying for the post only through credit card or alternatively through Demand Draft. No other mode of payment would be accepted. If they opt to pay by Demand Draft then it should be in favour of “NTPC Limited” payable at New Delhi. Candidates can visit the online registration site from 1300 hours of 08.03.2008 to midnight of 28.03.2008.After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip generated by the system in duplicate with unique registration number, places for photograph and signature and other details. The candidate has to send one printout of registration slip duly signed along with required demand draft (if online payment is not done). The registration number, name, discipline and category should be written at the back of DD. The envelope should be super scribed with ET-2008 - (MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ CIVIL/ C&I/ HR/ FINANCE), Registration number and GEN/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH as the case may be and should be sent by ordinary post (Since postbox does not accept mail through registered post) to:
