The footwear was thrown by a Payyannur resident T.M. Shaji along with a slogan "V S Achuthanandan Zindabad" at Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan who is leading the Nava Kerala Yatra from one end of Kerala to the other. Fortunately the shoe missed the target.
