Galgotia's College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) has been founded by Smt. Shakuntala Educational & Welfare Society. The Society was established with the aim of providing state-of the art education in the fields of Engineering. Information Technology, Computer Science and Management, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Mr Suneel Galgotia, the Chairman, GIMT Institute of Management & Technology and Managing Director, Galgotia Publications Pvt. Ltd. A highly motivated visionary and the President of the Society, is the brain behind the venture. Armed with inspiration from his mother, his sense of devotion and dedication, and the vision to develop a world class institution, he established the GIMT Institute of Management & Technology last year and has established GECT this year. The Institute, approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and affiliated to Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Agra and offers MCA, BE, BCA and BBA programs.
The GCET, in its very first year of existence has accepted the challenge to set standards of education for the institutes of its kind.
It offers 4 year degree Bachelor of Engineering programm in Computer Science & Engg. Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engg and Electronics & Instrumentation Engg.
The Society has an 18 acre plot at a prime location. It is the very first plot on the 8 lane express highway joining Delhi and Greater Noida, the most beautiful township of UP coming up in the vicinity of the capital of India.
